Please join us for our Christmas appeal!

All we can hope for this Christmas is to be able to spend Christmas with our loved ones. Sadly, some in the world don’t have even that luxury in an average year.

This year, FPC is on a mission to collect as many shoeboxes as possible to donate to Children in Distress – a UK-registered charity based in Romania. This charity is dedicated to helping disadvantaged families and also suffering children and pensioners with long-term illnesses or disabilities.

We would love for you to join us in bringing joy to these families – after all, this may be the only Christmas gift a child or senior citizen will receive. If you would like to help, just follow our steps below to create your own shoebox gift. (And if you can’t? Don’t worry! Just send us a message and we will endeavour to help.)

*Please note: our last date for accepting gifts is Wednesday 10 November 2021.*

  1. Choose Your Recipient: Your shoebox(es) can be aimed at babies (boy/girl), children (boy/girl) or the elderly (man/woman).
  2. Choose Your Items: You can include items such as stationery, selection boxes, toiletries, clothes and toys. *Please do not include medicines, second-hand toys, money or gifts past their use-by date.* For a full list of suggestions, please click here.
  3. Wrap Your Shoebox: Once your shoebox is filled, please wrap the lid and box separately with Christmas paper of your choice and seal securely with elastic bands. Please also make sure to include a £2.00 delivery fee with your gift.
  4. Drop Off Your Box with Us: Please attach the required label to your box (which can be found here) and then bring it along to one of our locations listed below. A local collection can be arranged if requested. (If you don’t have a printer for your label, just fill out the required information on a piece of paper and we can complete the label process for you at our office.)
